Union Negotiations-Chief Company Spokesperson Many businesses are unable to justify having someone with union negotiation expertise and particularly chief spokesperson experience on their payroll. Some managers simply do not have the time or patience required to achieve successful outcomes. Other businesses do have someone with this expertise but are concerned that the individual may harm the positive relationship they currently enjoy with their union. Employee Engagement/SatisfactionAre you concerned that your employees don’t seem be involved or willing to go the extra mile to ensure success. You may be aware of studies that have shown that as employee satisfaction increases so does productivity and customer service. HR-HUB will customize a questionnaire and interview a sampling of some or all of your employees to determine the morale in your workplace. If the workplace sampling results indicate concerns about the level of morale, HR-HUB will work with you to determine the root causes, and then develop and implement a plan to improve the results. Maintaining Union-Free Environment HR-HUB has successfully worked with businesses or specific company locations without a unionized workforce to maintain their "union-free" status. We recognize that each business is unique and that employee issues vary. Normally, our approach is to conduct an assessment by utilizing our HR Audit Tool and Workplace Morale Sampling. Once the issues are identified, we jointly develop and implement an action plan that minimizes the risk of your employees becoming unionized. Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Have there been accusations of sexual harassment, bullying, teasing or some sort of conflict in your workplace? Each of these issues can be extremely disruptive and are very time consuming to resolve. If not resolved, these issues may lead to workplace violence and/or human rights complaints. It is often beneficial to have a neutral, unbiased third party to investigate, mediate if appropriate, make recommendations and work with you to implement those recommendations.
