Employment Manual and Employee Handbook

Employment Manuals and Employee Handbooks ensure transparency and consistency in your employment practices. Employment Manuals and Employee Handbooks are terms that are sometimes used interchangeably. To ensure consistency in terminology, at HR-HUB we tend to think of an Employment Manual as a binder or an electronic file that contains your detailed employment policies and procedures; whereas an Employee Handbook contains quick and easily read summaries of your HR policies, procedures, practices and general employment information. The Handbook may also contain your company's history, vision, mission and values. Some of our clients include the Employee Handbook in their Employment Manual.
